Lately, I’ve been trying to live in the moment more. This isn’t really easy for someone who is a chronic planner (a trait I inherited from my mother).
This is less about the ability to be flexible (I consider myself fairly flexible considering my deep planning condition). This for me, is more about focusing on the moment I’m in. Enjoying the place of life in which I reside. A lot of it is reflective and being grateful to the people who care so deeply about me.
Things in the moment allow you to focus on the positive. When you get too future thinking, you can get scared and become negative. Negative energy leads to more negative energy which leads to negative things in your life. You get from the world what you put back into it.
Don’t let your soul get lonely child
It’s only time, it will go by
Don’t look for love in faces, places
It’s in you, that’s where you’ll find kindness
